Cotton Fitzsimmons Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 The Ides o' July are upon us and YE OLE has a real simple question: does the lock out end such that we actually play the KC Chieftains on 9/11/11?
Captain Hindsight Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I cant see it not happening. I for one would be shocked if the Hall of Fame game is missed
Stl Bills Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I cant see it not happening. I for one would be shocked if the Hall of Fame game is missed Supposedly the HOF game is the one thing that might still be in Jeopardy even if a deal gets done in the next few days.

Delete This Account Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 i would bet, yes, given what the AP is reporting today: Bills on target to open camp in 2 weeks, barring breakdown in talks jw

Cugalabanza Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 I'm just not feeling the same optimism that seems to be prevailing. I want football, but I'm not so sure it's gonna happen.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 I'm just not feeling the same optimism that seems to be prevailing. I want football, but I'm not so sure it's gonna happen. Most likely, that makes you a pessimist in this situation.
Meathead Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 who cares about the hall of boring game as long as they get two or three preseason games and start the season on time im happy

I just can't see either side throwing away all of the money that's on the table by missing the first regular season game. Not to mention the PR nightmare they'll unleash. At this point, neither side is garnering much sympathy from the fanbase which is beyond fed up. The players and owners are a bunch of arrogant, greedy bastards but they're not stupid.
/dev/null Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 The 10th anniversary of 9/11 falls on a Sunday. No way in hell the NFL lets that kind of marketing opportunity slip away
