UConn James
I see that they love to play catch and release, and that Justice is blind, deaf and dumb in Canada, too. And, unfortunately, that's often what happens when you have a phone dialed to 911 during a gun & knife fight. Because when every second counts, police are just a few (or, here in NE CT... 20) minutes away.
Buftex
Up-date http://www.thespec.com/news/local/article/562902--no-chance-for-parole-this-time Even in mass murder, Canadians do it a little different: After two hours of listening to the anguish of his victims, double-murderer George Lovie withdrew his application before the Parole Board of Canada. “They had a profound impact on my emotions,” he wrote in the statement he signed partway through his hearing Wednesday. “I don’t want to further revictimize them.”
