bartshan-83 Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 There are 3 weeks left, 5 teams in contention, 2 spots. As of now, who would you vote gets in? For those who need the reminder: Buffalo 7-6 - (@Cin, @SF, Pitt) Jacksonville 7-6 - (@Green Bay, Houston, @Oakland) Baltimore 8-5 - (@Indy, @Pitt, Miami) Denver 8-5 - (@Kansas City, @Tenn, Indy) NYJ 9-4 - (Seattle, New England, @St. Louis) I say Buffalo and Baltimore, both at 10-6.
jarthur31 Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I don't see how Baltimore beats both the Steelers and Colts away from home. Let's hope they all lose out.
Guest RabidBillsFanVT Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 DENVER is the biggest threat to our chances right now. Having to have KC OR Tennessee beat them will be terrible. Indy by Week 17 will be resting their stars. This is BAD for us...! whew.

Today, Indy will give baltimore a reality check. Baltimore is more overrated. It is a possiblity that KC might step up and beat denver today. No John Abraham on the jests. Big hole on the jests defense for Shawn Alexander to have a big day. As for the bills THEY WILL ABSOLUTLY DOMINATE TODAY. Takeo Spikes is tasting playoffs. You can just bet he is taking today's game as a playoff game. I have a really good feeling about the bills chances to pull out a win.
MDH Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 As much as I'd like to believe that things will fall our way, and I do think we have an excellent shot at finishing 10-6 (with today's game being the biggest obsticle), I don't think the Bills get in, even if they win out. Jets (11-5) and Broncos (10-6) get in ahead of us. Let's hope I'm wrong.

But I think: Starting from the JETS: W/sea. L/N.E W/ST.L=11-4. DENVER L/K.C W/TN L/INDY.= 9-7. BALT. L/INDY L/PITT. W/MIA.=9-7. JAC. L/G.B W/HOU. W/OAK.=9-7 and finally DA BILLS L/CINN. W/S.F L/PITT.=8-8. But we all know that anything can happen thats why this years is so great. Look at all the teams with the same records. But it all comes down I think any team that can win out or 2 of 3 has a real good chance to make it. If BUFFALO can win today ,which they can I think they can beat PITT. at home on the last day of the season. And what a game that would be to see. Good luck guys!!!

A *lot* will be clearer after today... CW
Thurman's Helmet Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 My feeling on today's games; Jets over Seahawks Packers over Jaguars Chiefs over Broncos Colts over Ravens Bengals over Bills
Guest RabidBillsFanVT Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 My feeling on today's games; Jets over Seahawks Packers over Jaguars Chiefs over Broncos Colts over Ravens Bengals over Bills 166079 What in the WORLD makes you think Cincinnati wins today?? There is nothing that points to them winning today.. NOTHING. They are beat up, our defense is fully stocked now, TKO is a man possessed, they have a losing record, their run defense is sloppy and our running attack is deadly. Any shot they have (getting to Bledsoe) is IMMEDIATELY lost due to their porous run defense.
Dante Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Do we win a tie breaker with the Jets? I think our best chance is catching them. I really do think that Seattle can potentially win today. Jets have the Pats next week and we could tie them.

Cant wait to see the venom you're spewing in 3 hours when the Bills' playoff chances are put to rest. Signs that point to Cincy winning; 1. They are at home 2. Their WRs are big, fast and can get separation from Buffalo's corners 3. Buffalo's pass rush wont be able to get to Kitna 4. Cincy's D while not a good run defense CAN get to Bledsoe and when you get to Drew, good things can happen for you.

Thurman's Helmet Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 B-U-M-P 167190 Hey, I offered my opinion. I was wrong about the Bills. Kitna wasnt as good as he was last week and the Bills D from what I've seen stepped it up big time. Congrats on a GREAT road win. I will now root for you guys the rest of the way, especially against Pittsburgh.
