MattyT Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1871103 Len P. Says Shane Matthews is top candidate for backup.
MattyT Posted August 30, 2004 Author Posted August 30, 2004 Whoa. I just noticed this. Milloy says he should be ready for the opener.
Mile High Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 thats kinda good news that he didn't rip his acl. kinda glad that it was just a sprain and not a tear.
JoeF Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Happy for Travis. He and Matthews (if its Matthews) can compete for the back-up spot when he is ready to come back. Sounds like Lawyer is determined to play. This is about the best possible scenario.... Now lets get Jennings and Price healthy and start to get the true starting offensive line and top OL back-ups in shape for the opener...
stuckincincy Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/stor..._len&id=1871103 Len P. Says Shane Matthews is top candidate for backup. 11869 Nice to know that Len P. has listened to stuckincincy months ago...
34-78-83 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 The funniest part of this is that Len P probably got the word well before any Buff news or WGR source, LOL !
MattyT Posted August 30, 2004 Author Posted August 30, 2004 yo, matty baby: what's your avatar pic from? 11981 Hey Brandon - It's an "urban explorer" who is part of a larger group of people @ The Jinx Project who basically "tour" bridges, rooftops, and abandoned tunnels and buildings. Check out the photos on the site...pretty friggin cool. Anyway, I saw this picture of a guy standing on the guardrail at the top of the MetLife building (60 or some odd stories up) in front of the Chrysler building in the Time Out NY magazine (NYC's version of Rochester's Freetime) and I think its one of the coolest photographs I've ever seen. I've got a book (currently on loan) that I can get to you if you are interested. Edit: Here's a link directly to a similar pic MetLife/Chrysler Bldg and one of a guy climbing the Manhattan Bridge
Dan Gross Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Wait, I thought it was absolutely stone-cold-lock guaranteed that he tore his ACL, and the MRI was to check for other damage???
