Simon Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Carolina has been lining Peppers up wide near the goalline the last couple weeks. Wonder if they'll ever actually throw the ball at him. This has great comedy potential.
Tux of Borg Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I saw someone perform the rock bottom on Peppers outside a club in Chapel Hill. I'm surprised he can still walk after getting his head slammed on the concrete. It was almost worth being detained by the local police department just to see that.

Simon Posted December 19, 2004 Author Posted December 19, 2004 Actually, I thought the throw was perfect. Peppers allowed himself to get ridden outside and then when he made his leap, it was at an angle and his momentum carried him out. If he had been able to jump straight up in the air, he would have come down in bounds easily as the throw was still inside the chalk when it was at an easily catchable height. But I guess that's the difference between the body control of a WR and a DE. I thought if they threw to him it would be something inside or underneath where he could use his size to shield the defender. That's kind of fun to watch, I hope they give him another shot on a different route. Cya

SACTOBILLSFAN Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 From the words coming out of the broadcast booth he could probably score with Theisman, McGuire or Patrick...he'd have to compete with Vick though.
