San Jose Bills Fan Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Stan Hixon who coaches the Bills receivers seems more than a bit enthused about Marcus Easley. He seems to be talking him up with a good deal more confidence and belief than one would expect a coach would regarding a player whose rookie season was wiped out by an untimely injury. “He was 6’2” 220 pounds and 4.4 speed so he had the vertical that you’re always looking for,” Hixon told Buffalobills.com. “I was excited about him in camp because he was making some plays and then he just got hurt. He’s got the knowledge and the concept of the play,” said Hixon. “Not just what he’s doing, but what everybody else is doing. Who are we trying to affect? Who are we trying to beat on this particular pass play? It won’t be the first time he hears it. During last season within game plans we had new routes, new options and new plays so it won’t be new to him. He’s heard it before and visualized it before and now he’ll be able to go out there and do it.” http://www.buffalobills.com/news/article-1/Expectations-for-Easley/1b62644b-509a-44c1-8e9f-9dde4d1c16a1
