Simon Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Herr's Cheddar and Horseradish Kettle Chips. They're so galdanged good I'm sitting here picking them out of my keyboard..... Feel free to nominate others. But you'll be wrong!
DC Tom Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Martin's kettle-cooked chips. They're the favorite of both Clinton and Bush Jr., and were served on Air Force One until the current administration (as Obama is apparently too much of a communist to appreciate good potato chips).
DrDawkinstein Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I like any of the Cape Cod brand, but their Salt & Vinegar are the best
KD in CA Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 I like any of the Cape Cod brand, but their Salt & Vinegar are the best Agreed on the Cape Cod. I like the original best, though the S&V are very good too.
plenzmd1 Posted June 30, 2011 Posted June 30, 2011 Utz Crab Chips are good when you are in that mode...

Feel free to nominate others. But you'll be wrong! Is the horseradish strong enough where you can get that sinus clearing moment where it hits you in just the right spot?
Nanker Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I try not to eat too many chips these days. Utz is the best brand of plain chips IMHO. Kettle chips are too loud for my taste.
Pete Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 Wait Wait Don't Tell Me had an interesting fact last week. They said over a time period(10 or 20 years I think) the average American puts on 17 pounds. Out of those 17 pounds 1/2 pound is directly from potato chips. I love all Chips. Cape Cod chips are great. I even linke Pringles and read that there creator is buried in a Pringles can. Potato Chips are superior to French Fries 99% of the time IMO
Ramius Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 I like any of the Cape Cod brand, but their Salt & Vinegar are the best Agreed.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted July 2, 2011 Posted July 2, 2011 Cape Cod or Martin's kettle cooked, Salt and Vinegar FTW
realtruelove Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 Martin's Kettle Cooked are the finest. If you have never had one, you have surely missed out on some yummy chips.
Taro T Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Never had Martin's. Sound good. Best I have had are Zapp's. The chips are thick sliced and very crunchy. Their Hotter n Hot Jalapeno and Cajun Crawtaters are excellent. They used to have one that they'd sell around LSU - Tiger Taters. Wash 'em down w/ an Abita Amber or a Turbo Dog and it doesn't get much better. Creole Tomato w/ Tabasco sound good as well, but never had those.
muffmonster Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Cape Cod brand used to be my favorite, but I'm thinking Utz are the best right now in my opinion. Their Kettle Classic Smokin Sweet BBQ are simply amazing.
