Peace
Meanwhile, let the records show: Supreme Court 15 - Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals - 0. In fairness, when the Supremes take a case, it's usually because they aer changing something about the underlying ruling. Otherwise they don't take it. From the article: And about 70% of the time, they decide the lower court got it wrong and reverse the decision. But even by that measure, the 6th Circuit's batting average is poor. An Enquirer analysis found that the other 11 regional appeals courts each had at least one decision upheld or partially upheld by the Supreme Court in the past two years. California's 9th Circuit, the nation's largest and most liberal, led the way with 31 reversals and has butted heads for years with the increasingly conservative Supreme Court. But even the 9th Circuit was upheld seven times and had four split decisions. Edited June 29, 2011 by Peace
Doc
Meanwhile, let the records show: Supreme Court 15 - Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals - 0. I saw that. And the judge's reasoning ("no one is inactive when deciding how to pay for health care") was on of the most inane things I've ever heard.
