Wacka Posted June 25, 2011 Posted June 25, 2011 In my town, they took two underpasses under the interstate and made some nice murals. One is modern people looking through windows at scenes of the Ohlone indians, Mexicans and Irish that settled the area. The other is the Ohlone indians, Mexicans and Irish looking at modern scenes of the town. They put an anti-grafitti coating on them and have had no problems in almost 10 years. They even painted the sides. One has someone I know and her two kids pointing to the artists finishing up the work. The woman worked at the Safeway next to the interstate and gave them coffee. On the other side is what looks like a large round access port that appears ajar. These artists have done a few other underpasses in other towns in the area
