SACKMARINO Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 I was at the Bills vs. Jags game last year, and stayed at the Bills' hotel. Hugh Douglas stopped by, and was hanging with TKO, and London. TKO may do some talking to TD.
The Jokeman Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Hopefully Troy Vincent can help lure Douglas here as well. Though the only thing about Douglas is I don't want to over spend on him as Ryan Denney had the same amount of sacks as Douglas had last year.
Thailog80 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 I'll take Douglas with 3/4 of his tank depleted before I'd take a Denney with a full tank. IMHO.
JAMIEBUF12 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 can hugh pass block? can he run block? because that seems to be where we are really in trouble!can hugh play backup quarterback? go bills in'04
Kelly the Dog Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 I would take him only if he will play for the one million that we signed Gildon for to do the same thing, be a situational pass rusher and fight for the starting job. Then cut Gildon.

We would have to in essence trade Gildon's salary for Hugh to be able to sign the backup QB we need.

He came right out and said if there was a good player out there we would have money to sign him.
B-lo Snow Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Douglas' agent is Rosenhaus I was at the Bills vs. Jags game last year, and stayed at the Bills' hotel. Hugh Douglas stopped by, and was hanging with TKO, and London. TKO may do some talking to TD. 11858
Fixxxer Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Dump McKenzie and sign Douglas- Keep his legs fresh and he will make a difference.
jarthur31 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 From what I've read and heard, LDE isn't as vulnerable as it was last year. We don't need him. It's a waste of money. We need a SS who doesn't suck. Can Hugh play SS?
BB2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 That would be the "Lawyer Milloy" pickup of last season, and it would be a good one.
cåblelady Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Douglas' agent is Rosenhaus 12227 Egads.
Alaska Darin Posted August 30, 2004 Posted August 30, 2004 Yeah, let's sign a guy who admitted to tanking last season because he never "connected" with the fans and new city. This was AFTER signing a pretty hefty contract and ending up with 31 tackles and 3.5 sacks. His agent is Rosenhaus and the Redskins are interested? Just say no.
