You realize that he doesn't write the articles, don't you? All he does is post links to the articles. Like a Google without all the crap.

fully realize that...and yet he wields enormous power, especially with the far right. his headlines and link choices (or omissions) certainly play to that audience.

Sounds like the only one he's influencing here is you. Why don't you go ahead and post all the 'omissions' so we can have a fuller picture of the country's riot scene.

I really like Drudge for this reason, though sometimes his headlines can be a little off-putting. Still, not sure if anyone else noticed, but when the Weiner story first started popping up over the long weekend, Drudge didn't link to any of it. It wasn't until late Tuesday, I think, when he started posting links. He's usually pretty quick with his "developing..." stuff.

The brother of rock singer Billy Corgan was mugged on a Red Line train on the Near North Side this morning by a group who punched him and took his iPod, police say.

Jesse Andersen said he was riding the CTA Red Line train early this morning on his way to his 5 a.m. shift at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, listening to Nelly Furtado on his iPod.

Several teens started walking around the train and bothering people, include one who approached Andersen and tried to get him to do a fist bump, he said.

He deserved to have his iPod confiscated for listening to Nelly Furtado.

She is hot though:

It's going to be a long summer in Chicago as long as the criminals see there's no consequences as long as they commit these crimes in large packs.

I know somebody that has family in Myrtle Beach. They're not too happy about all this. They had a good thing going that the locals enjoyed, brought in the tourists and the tourist $$$, and was a positive for the region.

But all it took was a couple douchebags to ruin a good thing for everybody else
