HelloNewman Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 I finished most of my Christmas shopping before Thanksgiving and I feel good that I can relax. On my way home yesterday Eastview mall in Rochester was a traffic jam nightmare with no space to be had in the parking lot......I just smiled as I drove by knowing I was done and do not have to suffer with holiday stress..... Anyone else done? Or get their shopping done early like me?

We're both done and have been for a few days. CW

DC Tom Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Are you in your skivvies while posting here too? 164581 His wife's, I think. At least, that's what VABills told me...
Alaska Darin Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Are you in your skivvies while posting here too? 164581 Nope. Free and loving every minute of it.

Dan Gross Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 I tried going to Wal-Mart but the greeter told me to come back after the holidays when it was less busy.
Gavin in Va Beach Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Nope. Free and loving every minute of it. 164584 Don't your boys need a house Cosmo?
boomerjamhead Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 I tried going to Wal-Mart but the greeter told me to come back after the holidays when it was less busy. 164590 Did you get the complimentary "Piss Off" too?
Alaska Darin Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Don't your boys need a house Cosmo? 164591 Nothing more than a thin layer of gabardine to protect from the elements.

Sure it ain't the "trapper hat" and 12 gauge? Do they even have stores in AK?... Glad the internet revolution helped you out! Couldn't resist!

Couldn't resist! 164602 I didn't say I wasn't wearing my hat or that my 12 gauge wasn't nearby. I man has to have standards. We have stores here - alot more than we did when I got here. Apparently they're getting ready to build a Super Walmart Igloo pretty soon. Did you know: The highest grossing Best Buy, Costco, and Walmart are all located in Alaska? Of course you did.
Just Jack Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 The highest grossing Best Buy, Costco, and Walmart are all located in Alaska? Of course you did. 164611 Is that because there's only one for all of Alaska?
Dan Gross Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 The highest grossing Best Buy, Costco, and Walmart are all located in Alaska? Of course you did. 164611 Do they have special sled dog parking areas, or do they intermingle with the snowmobiles?
Alaska Darin Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Is that because there's only one for all of Alaska? 164620 Nope. Actually we have 3 Walmarts, 2 Costco's, 2 Sam's Clubs, and a Best Buy in Anchorage. They're building lots of stuff here. The economy is booming. Too bad we don't have taxes.
Alaska Darin Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 Do they have special sled dog parking areas, or do they intermingle with the snowmobiles? 164627 They let you ride right in.
