BuffaloWings Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 My fantasy league is starting its playoffs this week (as are most) and I'm already in a dilemma. Peyton Manning is one of my starting QBs - Trent Green being the other - and I have Baltimore's defense. The question is...will Baltimore's D be tough enough on Peyton that they would be worth starting? My other thought was to start San Diego's defense against Cleveland with the hopes that they'd get me more points than if I start the Ravens. I'm pretty confident that Manning won't chew them up like he did the Lions on Thanksgiving, but I don't know if the Ravens' D will be good enough, fantasy-wise. It's not like I plan on benching Peyton, either. My only backup QB is Kyle Boller. Thoughts???? Quote
PastaJoe Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 I'd play Manning and the San Diego defense. Quote
BILLS4LIFE Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 Id stick with Manning and the Charger defense. Quote
DreamOnDan Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 I'd play both. Manning can throw a pick for a td and it really doesn't hurt manning that bad. Chances are that he throws a couple and they fumble the ball. The chargers D is solid, but with the ravens d you have a better potential for a huge game. Quote
