Rob's House Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Ok how about this difference. Cash is truly unique legendary talent and the other has absolutely no talent I can think of and virtually ANYONE could do it. For this reason alone he shouldn't have been considered for a White House visit. Hell, King Obama should invite a porn star next. Same kinda deal. Now you want to ban anyone whose ever had sex from the White House? -Buftex
Dante Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 (edited) Please become a millionaire hip-hop star, then. Anyone can rap? Really. Anyone can sing like !@#$ing Bob Dylan too. Yes. Edited May 20, 2011 by Dante
Andrew in CA Posted May 20, 2011 Posted May 20, 2011 Yes. So, in essence, a matter of your personal taste and opinion governs whether the invite was prudent. Brilliant.
Zulu Cthulhu Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 Right wingers are pu**ies they just haven't realized it yet.

Your argument gets weaker with each post...I am a huge Johnny Cash fan, and honestly not a rap fan, at all, for the most part. But your notion that "anyone can do it" is laughable, and, you sound nuts...sorry dude. I can assure you, there are were those, back in the day, who would have questioned Cash's talent as well... so porn and rap are the "same kind of deal?" Brother...your true feelings are coming through loud and clear.

Same kinda deal. what kinda deal? what are you going on about? this is silly. by your standards -- no one with the lack of apparent talent (as judged by you) should be considered for a white house visit -- why then was the nation not appalled when Nancy Reagan took part in a video with such questionable talents as casey kasem, latoya jackson and known steroid user Arnold Schwarzeneggar as part of her "just say no," campaign. and need i point out, david hasselhoff, was involved, too. truly, a First Lady should have recognized these people for their lack of talent and nixed this whole deal. for shame. jw Edited May 21, 2011 by john wawrow

GG Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Oh, no. Anyone can rap. But very, very few do it well. Or, to be more accurate: anyone can "hip-hop". But few can rap. Anyone? I take it you've never seen Karl Rove trying to do it.

FAN. That tells you all you need to know about his judgement ability and taste in anything.
Dante Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 SHARKS. FAN. That tells you all you need to know about his judgement ability and taste in anything. hmm..seems to me they are in the top 4. Being a devout Bills fan I do understand how resentment for other teams success can fester. Ive dealt with it and I try to be positive hoping someday the Bills can do the same. On the other hand, I do realize that releasing hate can be cathartic.

Sorry about the Sharks, Dante...double OT...that is truly a Billsian way to go out...we are gluttons for punishment, eh?
Dante Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Sorry about the Sharks, Dante...double OT...that is truly a Billsian way to go out...we are gluttons for punishment, eh? Heartbreak seems to be the way its meant to be. But, I feel disappointments like this will make eventual total victory even sweeter no? Congrats to the Canucks. They will crush whatever team emerges from the east. In a way, I hope that team is Boston. I just wish it was broadcast on NESN so I could hear the B announcers cry.

That right there's reason enough to dislike them. It's like putting beach volleyball league in Murmansk.
