Can we possibly get Palmer from Cincy?

He wants out, we need a veteran QB, not a far move, he's played in bad weather,

which I think is important to be a Bills QB. I'd like to see him in RED,WHITE&BLUE!

PALMER and FITZ would be a great.

So, you think Carson Palmer, who is demanding out of Cincinnati, would agree to settle for going from one losing franchise to another losing franchise, to back-up the guy who used to back him up with his former losing franchise? I love Buffalo, I love the Bills, but I don't think Carson Palmer has the same feeling for Buffalo. He has a "short list" of teams he will accept a trade to...if a deal is not worked out with one of those teams, he will retire...he says...don't waste too much time pining for this to happen.

Idk how I'd feel about that

No need to figure your feelings, Aloha - as another poster said, Palmer ain't opting out of one losing franchise so's he can move to another losing franchise to backup his former understudy.

Just. Not. Going. To. Happen.

Not a choice I'd want to pursue ... and certainly hope it's not one the Bills want ... and I don't think Palmer wants to ride the bench behind Fitz and that's all the Bills would offer because they are not about to start a QB competition for the starting job this summer. They do not want any controversy, it's FITZ in 2011 ... any vet will be the type willing to be a back up only.

Bade elbow, bad knee, they already where together in Cincy and ain't no way Brown is setting precedent for whinny players getting traded.

First, let me say that I know that there were extenuating circumstances during that 2008 season in Cincinnati.

However, FWIW, Ryan Fitzpatrick was 4-7-1 in the games he started whereas Carson Palmer was 0-4 with the same team.

Oh wait…were you talking about Jordan Palmer?

I'd do it if we could get him for cheap. If it gets down to going to Buffalo or not playing, he might change his mind. He says he's going to retire. I think we'll see him somewhere this year (if there is a season).

In Fitzy, I trust.

Palmer didn't play very well last year, Fitzy out played him, Fitz IS the starter!

The Bills want a serviceable backup QB with game experience and not some rookie or ex star that wants to start and get paid 10 million a year,...so that leaves out Matt Hasselbeck also

Kerry Collins might be the guy, Rex Grossman-Billy Volek-Chad Pennington, all URFA's

I'd take a chance on Vince Young. As long as he understands that the job will not be given to him and that if he want's to start then he will have to beat out Fitz in training camp. I think it could be a very healthy environment for him. If he does end up winning the starting job, we will have a serious weapon-- especially with Chan as our HC.

Palmer and Fitz are good friends. It's not so far fetched that he may land in Buffalo. Cincy says they have no intention of letting him go. Palmer is threatening to retire if they don't and swears he will never play another game in Cincy. Sticky situation, but if he leaves, Cincy will want some kind of compensation for him. Question is how much?

He IS the starter in Cincy. Why would he be willing to retire from a starting job to be a backup with another team?

This post makes no sense at all.
