Tipster19 Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 #5-Bs! #10-No we don't. #11-Tell the deserter that I hope he enjoys his retirement.
billsfreak Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Even if Schobel did come out of retirement, he most likely wouldn't play for the Bills. The Bills released him last season, so he is a free agent and has stressed that if he did play again he wanted to play closer to home-in other words if he plays, it will most likely be for the Texans.
Haven Moses Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Bring Schobel back and go to a 4-3 Imagine the possibilities
San Jose Bills Fan Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 Even if Schobel did come out of retirement, he most likely wouldn't play for the Bills. The Bills released him last season, so he is a free agent and has stressed that if he did play again he wanted to play closer to home-in other words if he plays, it will most likely be for the Texans. And now that the Texans have Connor Barwin, Brooks Reed, and JJ Watt and are playing in Wade Phillips' 3-4…I seriously doubt that Schobel's unretiring.
Homey D. Clown Posted May 3, 2011 Posted May 3, 2011 maybe if they cut maybin Don't Worry, this will happen regardless.
BuckeyeBill Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Imagine if we could bring Bruce back! Do you think he would unretire too?
DukeyBomb Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 wow really trying to stretch some football talk here aren't we, and beating a dead horse even more dead while you are at it. I think your #12 is a little bit... hmmm how can I say this? IGNORANT!?!? You might as well say all black people like each other more because they are black. Or something dumb. Sorry I am done being upset at that now. But no. It won't happen. Time to wakey wake from this dreamy dream.

Kingfish Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 I'd rather Brad Butler unretire than Schobel at this point.
JayD Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Plus Kyle Williams was on Bull radio on 103.3 the edger and said that he and schobel were out hunting and schobel was up over 310lbs. So my guess is he got really really lazy and ate like a beast. So the only think I see him sacking is some Whoppers!

He is simply not into playing and putting in the work that it takes.

Tell him we need him it couldn't hurt http://www.facebook.com/people/Aaron-Schobel/1591755558 You cant use a kicker and a punter as examples of roster familiarity ..Texas is considered the West and not the South A 34 year old retired 4-3 defensive end will not help a young team trying to convert to the 3-4. This is like the Terrel Owens signing..it will take away from our younger players playing time and hinder thier development. Schobel was a fine player but his time has past.
ICanSleepWhenI'mDead Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Plus Kyle Williams was on Bull radio on 103.3 the edger and said that he and schobel were out hunting and schobel was up over 310lbs. So my guess is he got really really lazy and ate like a beast. So the only think I see him sacking is some Whoppers! Schobel knows that he was too light to play DE in the 3-4, so he's obviously bulking up. Dareus should be a great 3-4 DE and he's what, 319? So Schobel only needs to add another 9 pounds or so and the comeback starts! They just can't sign him till the CBA stuff gets resolved, and they don't want to talk about it so other teams don't get interested and drive up his price. Please make sure you're sarcasm detector is operational before replying to this post.
Mr_Blizzard Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 If he was still in 2009 form, it would be great if he came back fr a season, but I doubt we will see him back. After the 2009 off-season it became pretty obvious that he lost his desire to play. Had a nice career with the Bills; too bad he never got to play in a playoff game.
Cotton Fitzsimmons Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 Aside from the obvious reasons already mentioned... there's also the little fact that the Bills CUT Schobel in the midst of his on again/off again retirement last offseason. If he does come out of retirement, the last place it would be is Buffalo. Nix made it clear that the team would be moving forward without #94.
