Who is the worst #2 QB on an NFL depth chart

It's been emphatically asserted that Levi Brown is "the worst #2 QB in the league".

The evidence offered was that he was cut and put on the practice squad with no one else grabbing him, and that he has only a bit of "garbage time" play.

 

I think there's lack of awareness of how thin the experience of many #2 QB is (or how outright poor they have shown themselves to be in their experience)

 

Which of these signal callers would sink your heart most quickly, if he were your favorite team's #2 and the #1 guy went down?

 

I agree Levi's an unknown quantity. But he certainly isn't in the top five of guys I'd wee to see out there with the game on the line.

 

What's your vote? Now be honest...do you recognize all these names?

 

I'm tempted by Jordan Palmer. Hard for me to see what he's achieved besides being Carson's brother. But overall I have to give it to Richard Bartel. Highlights:

-went from SMU to Tarleton State for college

-undrafted, invited to Cowboys minicamp 2007, cut. Signed to PS of 3 different teams, cut each time. Went to UFL

-played in his 1st reg. season game in 2011.

 

So here's a small-school guy, undrafted, cut multiple times from multiple teams. He must have athletic ability, but it takes him 4 years and a bad QB situation to throw his first pass in the NFL.

 

I think you could make an argument, if Levi makes you nervous, this guy ought to make you quake like an aspen.
