PromoTheRobot Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Anyone remember Lonnie Harvey last year? Another side of beef from Morgan State. PTR
Wing Man Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Don't laugh too hard. Remember when someone 310lbs. was considered way too huge? You could be looking at the future. Of course after his career was over, he could blow up to 600.
Billsguy Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 NFLdraftscout has him listed as 6-4 394 lbs Finally, after years of drafting undersized high motor losers, the Bills get real and draft some serious beef!
Sammyboy Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Darius just tweeted(ala Donte) that he felt disrespected that the Bills would select another dlineman to replace him, and that he demands an immediate trade to wherever Dick Jaurons coaching. Because he knows its tough to win in the NFL.
Marv's Neighbor Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I hope he's the Best ever BUT I'm concerned with; His stamina-how many plays can he stay in there for? and his ankles and knees, considering his weight. I hope I'm wrong on both counts.
Pirate Angel Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 This dudes size is impressive. I know he's 390 and moves well, but I wonder if it would be better for him to stay this heavy or drop 30 lbs? The scary thing is he doesnt look like he has 30 lbs to drop... He looks like he ate John McCargo
JinWPB Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 I hope he's the Best ever BUT I'm concerned with; His stamina-how many plays can he stay in there for? and his ankles and knees, considering his weight. I hope I'm wrong on both counts. Well if he just stands in one place you'd have to take a taxi to get around him.
RuntheDamnBall Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 That chip on his shoulder? He just made it into nachos and ate it.
Tcali Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 What do you have to say about him? he's sherman plunkett's grandson
Beerball Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Mount Jasper I don't think I could even if I wanted to.
Captain Caveman Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 That chip on his shoulder? He just made it into nachos and ate it. hioh
Punch Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Interesting notes on Jasper by Tim Graham--- a Bills scout had been tracking him for a year, and it was the Bills that asked him get below 400 lbs. Seems that all this hard work and training for the draft was initiated by the Bills' interest: http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/28617/bills-draft-pick-weighed-448-in-january
Maddog69 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) WOW. Dude is huge and seems strong and athletic. Would love to see him develop on a Ted Washington type NT. Edited May 1, 2011 by Maddog69
aristocrat Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 so is it possible to get 1k lb's on the def line? 400(jasper + 320(dareus) + 320(troupe) that would be a hell of a goal line stand.

This is pretty much the definition of a sleeper. I'll be rooting for him big time! Videos from his web site:
peanuts Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Here's a thought...short yardage fullback? PTR I agree!!
billsfan89 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 This is a very interesting prospect. Definitely a player worth taking a chance on for a 7th round pick. The guy is a physical specimen but the guy didn't play in a major program so he seems very raw.
