Drew026 Posted April 30, 2011 Author Posted April 30, 2011 Geography 101 is right down the hall, son. I edited it immediately after. Eassssyyy.
MRW Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Hey, his thread title is completely accurate, he just left out the bolding on one word.
Chandemonium Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 No teams drafted any players south of the mason dixon, they all drafted all their players in NYC.
Lurker Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Perfect example of the draft day commentary, right here folks.... Sigh...
Búfalo Blanco Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Nix and Gailey know where the talent is... Southern home grown!!! Ya'll git some cornbread ta cookin' in Buffalo now!!!!
Nanker Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 In Colonial America there was no Mason Dixon line.
sfbillsfan Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I don't think we drafted anyone west of MD line either
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 It seems that this draft may have been driven by Gailey's and the other Bills' coaches experience coaching during the Senior Bowl. e.g., they draft two LB's from the South team. They drafted Searcy who played for the North--not sure if he made an impression during the game? I'd be curious to know if this was a big driver in draft decisions this year. If it was, I wonder if that's good or bad?
Phil Hansen Forever Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 At least he didn't say "we didn't draft anyone west of the Mason-Dixon Line". There is something to be said for that.
sullim4 Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 This has the potential go to down in history as one of the best threads in TSW history...

It also appears they tried to stick with high character, high motor, tough guys.
boyst Posted May 1, 2011 Posted May 1, 2011 Johnny Reb. We can merge this with that threw in OTW about the civil war...
