nobody Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Stevie Johnson likes it, and knew a few days ago he was on our radar: check the comments on this video from 4 days ago! Had some pretty good closing speed in those highlights.
Bangarang Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Gone are the days where we get our starters from the late rounds and free agency. Now we're getting them at the beginning of the draft the way we're supposed to.
ndirish1978 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Another guy Chan coached at the North South game. I'm glad they had a chance to coach that game, seems like they likes quite a few guys on that team
swnybillsfan Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 special teamer who can hit sounds good. if he works out to be quality depth at ilb, that's even better. anyone complaining that they don't like him because he's not projected as a top 15 talent...come on...6th round here.
Over 29 years of fanhood Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 The first pick alone is going to make all lbs already on the team much better. And anyway this guy is purely a depth and St'er as moats, merrimen, poz, batten, Davis, tarbor,Kelsey are around and shrppard actually might crack the starting lineup. In fact if shrppard can live up to his potential, moat keeps developing, and as real wishful thinking merrimen rejuvenates, lb's might actually be an asset instead of liability.
syhuang Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 special teamer who can hit sounds good. if he works out to be quality depth at ilb, that's even better. anyone complaining that they don't like him because he's not projected as a top 15 talent...come on...6th round here. but.....but......but....... according to certain people, Brady was drafted in 6th round so every 6th rounder has to be a future HOFer. <sarcasm off>
Búfalo Blanco Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Damn... He gave Florida hell in that game...
jumbalaya Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Man, it sure is easy to criticize 6th round picks. If the guy was bigger & ran faster, he probably would've been drafted earlier. We should have drafted him in the 4th round, he'd have been a much better player then.
truth on hold Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Only pick I dont like so far. Not fast, plays too upright and cant change directions. Ran a 4.8 40. Sounds like sheppard!
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Comparing his combine #s to other ILBs available he actually posted great #s in most categories except for bench, which is the one that can be made better by getting him in the weight room.
Búfalo Blanco Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Stevie Johnson likes it, and knew a few days ago he was on our radar: youtube.com/watch?v=sk8xy0uTS2I check the comments on this video from 4 days ago! Holecek eh? Good prediction...
Fezmid Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 We drafted Fez? I have some good news and some bad news... Good news - I'M FREAK'N RICH!!!!! Even a 6th round contract will be some good cash!!!! The bad news... Our front office DOES suck if they think I can play... I mean I'll TRY (a little....), but I'm pretty sure I'll get injured during training camp. Have to get as much guaranteed money in my contract as possible. Anyone want to join my entourage? I need people to follow me around and say how great I am! Do you know who I am?!?! I'M CHRIS WHITE FROM THE BUFFALO BILLS!!!
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I'm sure Stevie Johnson knows who John Holocek is.
quikchomp Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 This pick could set the franchise back YEARS! I LOL'd!
It's in My Blood Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 buh-bye Pos. more like "hello LB depth"....poz isnt going anywhere
Hapless Bills Fan Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 buh-bye Pos. See, this is all wrong with the Bills, and the Bills fans. You don't get rid of servicable football players (who are not stars, or top tier) because you draft promising prospects. You need both. We do this worst in the secondary, where we can't seem to sign anyone to a second contract, but we do it to everyone. Poz is not a bad player when he's healthy. He'll do better with a decent line in front of him. Draft potential better players, AND keep Poz.
Thoner7 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Meh. I am still wanting Herzlich, and suprised they took this guy of Sturdivent.
