SWVABillsFan Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 OK! That's what I wanted to see - ILB! 6'3 240 projects as an outside lb, 4.74 and 17 reps. Dude, you lost your mind on this guy.
Bangarang Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 White has good size. Is a tackling machine. Overall looked solid on tape. I like this pick.
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 (edited) buh-bye Pos. Laughable. Â On White: He had 110 tackles, 26 total tackles for loss and two interceptions as a senior. He was an outstanding player in the SEC but lacks the speed and coverage skills needed to be an effective NFL linebacker. He could fit best at the next level as a 3-4 inside linebacker or two-down linebacker in a 4-3. Edited April 30, 2011 by Ghost of Rob Johnson
Scrappy Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I think this is great & demonstrates that we will have an improved defense sometime in the near future, it couldn't be much worse.
SoggyHog Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Only pick I dont like so far. Not fast, plays too upright and cant change directions. Ran a 4.8 40.
UConn James Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 (edited) I forsee an OTA / training camp "injury" so they can hide him on IR to get to what they want physically and learn, and see what comes out of the oven next year. Edited April 30, 2011 by UConn James

DrDawkinstein Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Only pick I dont like so far. Not fast, plays too upright and cant change directions. Ran a 4.8 40. Â its the SIXTH ROUND. What guy is left that doesnt have a handful of knocks?
Nanker Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Only pick I dont like so far. Not fast, plays too upright and cant change directions. Ran a 4.8 40. Â He's faster than Mallet.
Buffalo Barbarian Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Cha'ching, Got one of my boys, kid hits like a truck and has a lot of nasty in him, take notes Poz.
SWVABillsFan Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I forsee an OTA / training camp "injury" so they can hide him on IR to bulk up and learn, and see what comes out of the oven next year. Bulk up and increase strength, maybe. At a 4.74-40 not sure how much bulk this guy wants to put on. I can only think of 1 qb he will run down, mallet; not to mention rb's pr te's.
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 (edited) What was the knock on Sturdivant? Did we think he was too short at ILB? Arizona took him two picks after us. Edited April 30, 2011 by BEAST MODE BABY!
nichebiche Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Man, it sure is easy to criticize 6th round picks. If the guy was bigger & ran faster, he probably would've been drafted earlier.
