Tough nuts. But the constant onslaught of classless comments on all of his social media pages over the last 4 years is embarrassing to this entire city. I think we for the most part are but the few dbags out there who aren't supportive of our team are the ones posting nonsense on our players twitter pages and wherever else... We are on the right track and I love how this Draft is turning out but we still need veteran leadership and I think players like Whitner and Florence are great examples of that. GO BILLS!!!! I admit I rip a bit much on Lil' Donte...But he's never been the type to be humble since he's been here either...He's outspoken and he almost never backed it up with his play on the field...Maybe it is me, but Donte pretty much defines what I don't like about some Pro athletes...Plus he went to Ohio St and I'm a Michigan Fan... I'm sure Donte is a great guy. He's tried to be a leader having the DBs over to his house to watch film, etc. but just hasn't made many big plays. His tweets consistently reveal a lack of mental toughness. Consistent with his relentless tweeting, his empty playoff guarantee a few years ago shows big-talking bravado that is supported by...nothing. To say it's consistently annoying is not hating. I wish more players had that attitude. He has always been supportive of the team and the area, but the fans have despised him ever since the Bills announced his name and will always view him as sucking because he isn't in the Pro bowl. He could go out and singlehandidly carry the Bills into the SB, and almost everyone here would still bad mouth him because the wanted Ngata. If you were to replace Fred Jacksons name with Whitners on Twitter, everyone would be running in to join the lovefest for him. You are a grown man. The guy actually responded to some (I'm sure) 17 year-old Bills fan from Depew or something, who more than likely just told him he sucks by saying, and I quote, "Ur. Mother." You think Peyton Manning has time for this s***? Get the hell out of Buffalo Donte Whitner. LOL. Give me a friggin break. You think Jack Tatum and Night Train Lane would be tweeting?
