RichardBag Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Gallery's Restricted but wants out of Oakland. I would not hate spending all the FA $$$$ on O-Lineman!! I think Gallery, Mankins, Light would all be perfect fits. Possibly Free if not franchised!! But Gallery tops my list!! Fitz deserves the best protection money can buy!! Plus we just used all of our picks on Defense. Were's the O-Love?? More specifically, O-Line love. Thats our only O-Line need. Two solid acquisitions here and we are playoff bound! RayFinkle Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I think about 1/3 of those turds have already been on the Bills roster.
MattM Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 If the Bills can pick up Claybo, a TE and a LB in FA, we might surprise some folks this year....
iccrewman112 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Gallery is not good. Underachiever who has been sentenced to guard due to bad footwork. From your list I would like Ryan Harris T from Denver.
Maddog69 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I agree with ICCREW. Gallery is not good, especially at tackle.
NishP Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Gallery is not good. Underachiever who has been sentenced to guard due to bad footwork. From your list I would like Ryan Harris T from Denver. Yeah i thought the same thing, thats why he is playing guard now because he was a horrible tackle

Jets* Langston Walker, 31, Oakland * Restricted free agent Another FA not on this list is Adam Terry 6-8 330 Syracuse age 29. 2nd Round of Baltimore in 05. Signed as Jonathan 's Ogden's replacement, but J hung on too long. He was with Colts, Chargers, and Jags last year. Can play LT or RT, and has played TE in a Jumbo Package Started the year McGahee had a career season in Baltimore Believe he's already living in Western NY (?Rochester?) Inexpensive backup/swing tackle and VERY high character guy Worth at least bringing to camp.
Johnny Hammersticks Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Gallery is not good. Underachiever who has been sentenced to guard due to bad footwork. From your list I would like Ryan Harris T from Denver. Gallery played very well at Guard this season. McFadden made a living running behind he and Veldheer. I would love to pick him up for interior depth...perhaps starting at RG.
NoSaint Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Gallery is not good. Underachiever who has been sentenced to guard due to bad footwork. From your list I would like Ryan Harris T from Denver. Allegedly we tried to go after harris last year and it fell apart. Also doesn't nix have a history with clabo? Add one of those type of RT, a top 3-4 TE and a little luck with drafted guys, injuries etc.... Could be a fringe team with about 8-9 wins. At that point all it takes is a few bounces and you never know.
Koufax Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I don't think that we have a lot of huge upgrades to Bell at LT nor is he as bad as people think. I'm open to consideration if something throws itself at us, but elite LT free agents are not great value. I like our interior, although we could add some depth. What I think our biggest free agency priority should be is the best RT we can find. BTW, I heard the last guy on your list was okay, but that ship has sailed. I do think we can find a better free agent RT than find a late round year 1 starter. Free agent priorities (to be shaped by final picks tomorrow): 1) RT 2) Veteran backup QB better than Brohm 3) TE 4) LB & DB depth (depending on who we re-sign)
apuszczalowski Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 With Wang and Wood, The Bills HAVE to go out and get Willie Colon, and Bushrod for the o-line
Albany,n.y. Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 We'll probably sign that FA from the Giants-Jamon Meredith
Rob's House Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 With Wang and Wood, The Bills HAVE to go out and get Willie Colon, and Bushrod for the o-line Damien Woody is available too.
Fan in Chicago Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Damien Woody is available too. Woody on a line with Wood and Levitre will just make the Erection Company jokes come out in full force
Rob's House Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Woody on a line with Wood and Levitre will just make the Erection Company jokes come out in full force An O-line like that is hard to come by.
WickedGame Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 If we get Tyson Clabo, I'm happy with free agency. TE Zach Miller would be nice (is he still a FA?), but Clabo would be more useful.
