ShipUPride Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 A qb at 86 that had 1st round potential is a good risk
Koufax Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Carolina doesn't pick him obviously, nor do the Bengals, so unless Elway loves him, he should be there. I know there are a lot of Ryan Leaf comparisons, but we are talking about the third round, and I would have taken Leaf in the third round too (and maybe without the pressure he would have even done okay). I know we will get a good role player by Buddy, but I will be very disappointed if we pass on Mallett.
QCity Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Now that Marcus Gilbert (OT) is off the board (damn you Pitt) I really have no problem gambling on Mallett.
KD in CA Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 No statues in the pocket until we draft some OTs, please.
bisonbrigade Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 wouldnt mind Mallet but doubt thats the pick. Just dont pick a crappy player hear please, stud LB, OT, or Mallet.
Buftex Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Thank you Jesus once again! I think if it was up to Rico, there would be no QB'S in the game of football!
Rico Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I think if it was up to Rico, there would be no QB'S in the game of football! No, if it was up to me, all the brain dead statues would be playing for Miami.
JPicc2114 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Stop drinking the Ryan Mallet Koolaid... hes terrible.
Buftex Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Stop drinking the Ryan Mallet Koolaid... hes terrible. So says Mr Negative...good enough for the Pats!
Rico Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 No, if it was up to me, all the brain dead statues would be playing for Miami. Well, the Pats work too. Belichick has lost his mind, outstanding! Watch him get traded to the Bills though in 10 years for a 1st-round pick.
KD in CA Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Guess we'll get to see a lot of him. I certainly hope so; sooner rather than later.
tonyd19 Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Who would have thought we could have gotten Dareus, Bowers and Mallet without trading any of our picks two months ago? People would have said you were nuts. I have faith that Chan and Buddy know what they are doing....As with everything time will tell.
QCity Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 Wow - AdamSchefter: One front office executive said last week that Ryan Mallett was the top-rated quarterback on the Patriots draft board.
