KurtGodel77 Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Our coaching staff is doing what they were hired to do.
John from Riverside Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 That is a really really incredible stat when you look at how we were scoring in the first month of the season..... This has to be the biggest 180 I have ever seen an NFL team do
ROCCEO Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 maybe the biggest 180 in the right direction.....
BRH Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 maybe the biggest 180 in the right direction..... 163007 Good point. The 180 we did last year stopped and turned right on a damn dime when Gilbride had Travis throw that pass in Miami.
ROCCEO Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Thankfully the only passes travis is throwing now days are occurring here in Buffalo at the local middle schools.....
BRH Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Check out this stat: In the first two games of 2003 and the last seven games of this season, we're averaging 32.1 ppg. (And that's with the sixer we put up in New England.) In the 20 games in between, we averaged 12.6 ppg.

stuckincincy Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Well, we've done a good job beating up on scrubs and semi-scrubs.
BRH Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Well, we've done a good job beating up on scrubs and semi-scrubs. 163234 That's right. All of these stats are misleading.
KurtGodel77 Posted December 16, 2004 Author Posted December 16, 2004 That's right. All of these stats are misleading. 163274 I disagree. Over the course of the year, we've faced a lot of good defenses. We've earned that 9th place ranking.
stuckincincy Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 That's right. All of these stats are misleading. 163274 Sorry...an ICEy wind just blew over me.

jarthur31 Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 The line has been playing ALOT better and they are to be blamed for the resurgence!
KurtGodel77 Posted December 17, 2004 Author Posted December 17, 2004 @BRH: Look, we've played the Patriots twice, the Jets twice, and the Dolphins twice. As bad as the Dolphins are overall, their defense is pretty good. We've played the Ravens and the Raiders. That's eight teams out of the 13 total we've played against right there. The results of each of those games were averaged into our overall offensive output before concluding that we were ranked ninth in scoring.
BillnutinHouston Posted December 17, 2004 Posted December 17, 2004 This team is SPECIAL and deserves a standing O at the end of the Pittsburgh game, win or lose. We CAN do it!!
