gantrules Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Has anyone been to the Great American Ballpark? Home of the Reds. We are making summer plans and looking to go out there to catch a Braves game. If so how is the seating and concessions? Worth going to or not?
udonkey Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 One of my favorite MLB fields. Seating is great - I recommend right field - great view and its field level, so you can sit low and heckle the outfielders. Concessions are typical - expect $6 beers, etc.
billsfan80 Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Yes, it is a very nice ballpark. I've sat in a few different spots and can't complain about any of them. My favorite spot to sit now is in the right field seats also. The concessions are expensive, but what ballpark doesn't have expensive concessions? It's much better than Riverfront/Cinergy ever was by far.

udonkey Posted December 16, 2004 Posted December 16, 2004 Its definitely much more of a -ball park- rather than a -stadium- http://reds.enquirer.com/2003/03/28/gabpaerial600.jpg http://www.johnnyroadtrip.com/cities/cinci...behindplate.jpg
