PISSCHUNK Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 #3) Von Miller - OLB; Texas A&M #34) Christian Ponder - QB; Florida St. #68) Kelvin Sheppard - ILB; LSU #100) Luke Stocker - TE; Tennessee #122) James Brewer - RT; Indiana #133) KJ Wright - ILB; Miss St. #169) Cedric Thornton - DE; S. Arkansas #206) Brandon Bair - DE; Oregon #245) Blaine Sumner - NT; Colorado School of Mines
John from Riverside Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 This is a draft I could live with. I am not high on taking a TE (would rather take a OL) but Stocker is quite the blocking TE
Pete Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 I would be ok with that draft. Stocker and Wright will be long gone by were you have them slotted IMO
frogger Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 if that's our draft, I would be extremely happy. If stocker isn't there, I'd be okay with undersized DJ Williams, solid blocker and can catch a 8 yard pass and turn it into a first down...I would go so far as to give that draft an A+ fits all of our needs

WJ Wright will likely go earlier because there will be a run on ILB's. but the rest are dead on, I think--really well thought out. if that's our draft, I would be extremely happy. Thoner7 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 I think the 1st two picks are kinda poopie, and the next two picks are highly unlikely (both players drafted by then). James Brewer is really big and I read he was a mauler in the run game. Maybe a RG? That would be sweet.
Zulu Cthulhu Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Nice handle "Pisschunk". Wonder how that one slipped past the filters.
JStranger76 Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Doubt Sheppard will be there either, but I like it if it were to happen. Like it or not though, if we go D with the first pick, we will be trying to trade back into the 1st for whatever QB makes them feel warm and fuzzy. I garooonteee it.
qdawg in philly Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Change #34 and I'm all on board! Really like your two 7th rounders! BIG NASTIES! Change #34 and I'm all on board! Really like your two 7th rounders! BIG NASTIES!

The Wiz Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Colorado School of Mines?? Judge Smails said it best: Well the world needs ditch diggers too
bisonbrigade Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 (edited) I'D take that draft, but if Jake Locker is somehow there at #34 I would take him instead. Ponder will be an OK QB with injury issues. Locker is either John Elway or Ryan Leaf and can take a pounding. I take the chance on greatness than settle for ok. Edited April 25, 2011 by bisonbrigade
