Ozymandius Posted April 23, 2011 Posted April 23, 2011 The Fitz / Brees comparisons are laughable. Fitz's greatest weakness is Brees' greatest strength. Besides, Brees didn't emerge until after the Chargers drafted Rivers. Don't underestimate the value of competition. If Fitz has a chance to be as good as Brees (again, LOL), then it will be with Newton or Gabbert as his backup, pushing him.
zazie Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 Wow, this really highlights our top end drafting ineptitude. THese are the cream of the Bills skill positions and they are: Ryan Fitzpatrick, 7th round Levi Brown, 7th round Fred Jackson, undrafter free agent Stevie Johnson 7th round David Nelson UDFA Donald Jones UDFA Naaman Roosevelt UDFA AND THE DREAFT POSITION WINNER: Marcus Easley, 4th round Lovely!

zazie Posted April 24, 2011 Posted April 24, 2011 We didn't draft Fitz Regradless, he WAS drafted in the 7th round. It is not someone WE drafted in a higher round, that is our best guy. As you would maybe hope it would be. That said, we also didn't draft Nelson, Roosevelt, Jones or Jackson. And neither did anyone else.
Beerball Posted April 25, 2011 Posted April 25, 2011 Jones has also been working out @ TEST Sportsclub, Martinsville, NJ “Right now, I’m just being really careful, not going out much, not spending too much, Jones told Metro. “For me, I'm not a big spender. But you need to be wiser in what you spend. This thing might go on for awhile.”
