BuffaloBill Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Toys lure kids in ... only to fatten them up? What happened to parents simply saying "no" or perhaps making a healthy meal at home?
Fezmid Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 In other news, Toys R Us is being sued because they have toys in there that parents are FORCED to go in and buy.
Just Jack Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 I should sue my parents for not giving me more Happy Meals growing up.
Nanker Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 Yes, it's much better to take them to Denny's and get them started at an early age on the All American Slam where $0.10 of every purchase (yes, one-thin-dime, one tenth-of-a-dollar) goes to the Special Olympics.
Marv's Neighbor Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 Must be the beginning of Elder Abuse! The kids start off by forcing their parents to take them to McD's and it just gets worse from there. Try telling your kid we can't go to Toys'R'Us for your birthday, you'll have to settle for a McD's toy?
Nanker Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 SF should pass an ordinance banning the discounting of any and all services and products. After all, think of the sales tax money that the government is being cheated out of by these 10, 20 and 30 percent off sales. It's the government's money and they're not getting their fair share. Shame on you, you discount shoppers you!
Captain Hindsight Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 The kids or McD's? From the article it clearly seems McD's is resonsible for making kids fat. I'm Sure it has nothing to do with lazy parenting
