Pete Posted April 19, 2011 Posted April 19, 2011 This was on Mythbusters. They had subjecs make up a list of random words to yell when in pain "Marshmellow. Puppy Dogs. Grilled Cheese" etc and then had subject submerge their arm in ice water and try and keep it their for 3 minutes. Then they tried the same experiment, and allowed them to swear. There was a noticeable increase in how long they could withstand the ice water when they were allowed to swear. so !@#$ off !@#$ !@#$ !@#$ing !@#$ers
