Vote for the pick. At 2pm eastern, the highest vote getter will become the Bills selection at #3 overall.

 

Picks #1 and 2 were Cam Newton to Carolina and Patrick Peterson to Denver.

 

If someone you like isn't on the list, vote in the thread.

Sorry man, I blew it. I was supposed to vote for Denver but didnt know when I was on the clock :oops:

Almost went with Jordan, but picked Dareus instead. Bring on the Big Boys!!

Jordan is pretty big too ya know. I guess were deciding over a DE and a DT at this point. I took Jordan personally cause he can fill 3 holes. DE in a 3/4, 4/3, or DT in a 4/3 vs Dareus who can only fill the DT positions in either scheme.

Dareus played DE in Alabama's top ranked 3-4 defense. He was incredibly effective there too.

 

I took Dareus for the same reasons you stated. He can play anywhere along the line. That has been one of the most talked about points on him all year.

Then I saw the vote too close for comfort between Von Miller and Dareaus and deleted my vote to vote for Dareaus.

 

I don't want a 3rd party candidate splitting this issue.

 

Either go Big or go Home.

 

We need some Beef.

It's gonna suck when Denver takes Dareus. I can't see them taking Peterson, especially after bringing in Fox. Who chose Peterson for Denver anyway? Didn't the guy drafting for denver miss the pick. To be more realistic, IMO, Dareus shouldve been the broncos pick. I know it's a fan mock, but not selecting Dareus to Denver makes our pick in this draft less realistic. We all know that this board favors Dareus, and this showed us nothing. Sorry for being a downer.

As was stated in the mock draft thread, if a pick is missed, i have been going off a list of rankings from CBSSports and NFLDraftScout. (Taking into account common sense with team needs ie-Green Bay won't get a QB at #32) Peterson is their #1 ranked prospect, Dareus is 3rd. I'm not attempting to draft in reagrds to what people think a team "should" do.

 

Any further missed picks will made in this same regard.

I know the first two picks were in beforehand...but if the Bills feel this strongly about M. Dareus so far, it's likely that Carolina and Denver fans and possibly their organizations may feel as strongly too! But if Dareus is still there I am all for the pick!!! But, I have a feeling despite my personal feelings and reasons why we should draft Dareus...that the Bills organization will instead select Von Miller which may be a very good pick in the end, but I just feel better about Dareus, his size, and his ability to plug up the middle and slow down the opponents run game!

Is there a way to make that go past 10?

That wouldn't be a bad tool to use.

 

I 65% chance that Denver takes Dareaus seems about right to me.

 

However for the purposes of this mock. I don't believe that Peterson is completely out of left field.

I agree, I wouldn't be shocked if they took Peterson, but consensus has Dareus as the overwhelming favorites among mok draft sites. And it's not even close.

 

I've been looking for other sites that have more than top 10, nothing yet
