BuffaloBud
I'm certainly glad I wasn't on that commuter plane.
KD in CA
Please leave your seat beat securely fastened until we have reached the gate and the pilot has turned off the seat belt sign. Â Wow, spinning another plane almost 90 degrees is one hell of a 'clip'.
Chef Jim
Those Airbuses are !@#$ing huge. Watching them take off out of SFO and over the freeway is amazing.
zow2
I can relate to this story. We landed at Dulles airport a few years ago on a United 777 (from LA). While taxiing and about to turn into our gate the plane lurched a bit and stopped quickly. All of a sudden the flight attendant starts running down the aisle "we hit another plane, we hit another plane!" She was freaking out but the passengers were all calm. We were only going like 5 mph or something. Anyway, turns out our right wing sliced through the tail rudder of a Lufthansa 747 that was backing up....Ooops! Someone handling ground ops really screwed up. No big deal for us, we were at our destination and safe. Those 300+ people on the Lufthansa plane were grounded though. It made the local news. dib
If the other plane had been a Lufthansa plane the French would have steered way clear.

Marv's Neighbor
If the other plane had been a Lufthansa plane the French would have steered way clear. The Comair plane was made in Quebec! Maybe they're not as close as they would have us believe?
