I know I am going to get a lot of people telling me how negative I am and this is only the preseason.....but I have watched good teams play and I have watched our beloved Bills play and I am sorry to say we are not going anywhere this year...why?

- Bledsoe moves like Frankenstein in cement shoes. He does not move...he lumbers and teams know this so they go after him. He also gets rattled easily if sacked enough times and teams know this so they go after him. He just does not do anything fast and nimble like other QB's do....he lumbers.

-The special teams are certainly not special. How in God's name does a team on 4th down end up with only 10 players on the field? GOOD TEAMS DO NOT DO THIS!!!! Tell me this....did this dumb mistake happen to any of the playoff teams a year ago? Nope.

- The offensive line is in total disarray. You have a RT who is a fat unprepared slob with mental issues who gets turned around by the other teams DE? Right now he frightens nobody because he does not have that killer instinct. Compare him to Orlando Pace of the Rams.....What has Mike Williams done to strike the fear into hearts of other teams? NOTHING!!! This line scares nobody and is a mess..........

- We have a GM who has drafted an injured RB, a fat bust RT, and a decent to fair CB. Not exactly the second coming of Scott Pioli.

The Pats, a good team, were spanked by the Bengals last week, who were in turn spanked by the Falcons rookie QB on Saturday. Good teams lose and look bad in preseason too.

Bledsoe has looked very good getting the ball out quickly on first and second downs. His problems this preseason center around 3rd and long were the opposing defenses send numbers. The coaches will need to gameplan around this in the regular season, which they'll have little problem doing.

Actually good teams make errors on special teams in preseason all the time, mainly due to the fact that many rookies play on special teams in the preseason. Last week, Tennessee, a good playoff team, gave up a huge return to McGee.

Compare Williams' first two seasons to Pace's and you learn that Williams gave up a whole TWO sacks more than Pace did during that time. Going into his 3rd year, Pace didn't scare anyone either.

Yeah, and if those were his only draft picks, and McGahee was going to be injured forever, and Williams was through developing (remember Pace), I'd agree with you.

Many of Donahoe's choices have looked good this preseason. Kelsay, Shoebel, Reed, Losman, Thomas, and McGee have all had their moments. Throw in Henry and Evans, who will play well when the season starts, and Donahoe's draft picks are fine.

I know it's hard after watching 3 games to tell yourself that it's only preseason, but that's what it is.

Saturday's game plan was more about giving McGahee the ball than gameplaning against the Colts weaknesses. The coaches wanted to give the guy a real workload, even if it meant running some plays that were dead before they started.

That's what happens in preseason, and that's why a good team occassionally gets blown out.

and preason mean.....well, it means, NOTHING.

I haven't watched one snap of one game. Why????

BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MEAN A THING.

The only thing it does is create injuries....

I agree - Preseason or regular season, we seem to be the only team in the league over the last 5 years that has consistent problems scoring against the Indianapolis freaking Colts defense.
