Tortured Soul Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Assuming that he would have fit in the exit row, that means that some passenger(s) in that row would not change seats with him, but would rather the flight be delayed and that this person be kicked off. How about sharing the blame?

How about sharing the blame? Where does it say that the people in the exit row were approached? Based on this one side of the story it wouldn't surprise me if they did not ask. Seems like common sense was lacking on the part of Republic.

muggins Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 It always seems like there is a 5'3" woman sitting in all of the exit row seats
Just Jack Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 When I flew from Shanghai to Beijing, the (at the time) Worlds Tallest Man was on our flight. They seated him in First Class, while the woman he was traveling with was put into coach.

I have a hard time believing that they weren't aware of what was going on when they saw a 6'9 person being escorted off the plane. They don't necessarily need to be asked - they can volunteer, too.
