DC Tom
What? Of course that's true. A weapon allowed to walk was the weapon found at the scene and verified to be the weapon to have used to kill him. Wtf? NOT SOLD BY THE GOVERNMENT. Remember third grade? Reading comprehension? No? Explains a lot...
UConn James
NOT SOLD BY THE GOVERNMENT. Remember third grade? Reading comprehension? No? Explains a lot... Its sale was facilitated by the government, who (as I understand it) looked on as straw buyers for the cartels went thru a dealer who was authorized/instructed by the govt to sell these specific guns to these purchasers. A distinction without much difference.

3rdnlng
http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2012/06/29/DOJ-No-Executive-Privilege-for-Texas-Pols "As if the DOJ stonewalling of Congress is not bad enough, however, Eric Holder apparently does not believe that executive privilege is either “fundamental,” as he put it, or even legitimate to the operation of state governments. His Justice Department is in litigation with the Lone Star State over its new voter ID law. After the Justice Department objected to this common-sense election reform on the erroneous claim that it is discriminatory and violates Section 5 of the Voting Rights Acts, Texas filed suit in federal district court in the District of Columbia."
