Sade : Either Love Deluxe or The Best Of Sade. For just one must listen to song, try No Ordinary Love

Celine Dion : One of her early albums, no title, just called Celine Dion. There are several good ones on it, but one that works for me is If You Asked Me To. A newer song of hers, not on that album, is A New Day Has Come.

Anita Baker : Giving You The Best That I Got.

Agreed on Sade and Anita; those two were frequently in the CD player at the end of the evening back in my single days. Vanessa Daou was another good one.

I've got some ambient and some cheesy Marvin Gaye style stuff, but the latter makes me feel like I'm starring in a spoof comedy and the joke's on me. Any suggestions?

Just go to AOL radio, tune into the smooth jazz station and note the artisits that you like. Boney James - Sweet Thing. Can't go wrong with that album.

Chet Atkins - Vincent

Lifehouse - Everything

Mario - Let Me Love You

Looking at the three I just typed, holy schnikkies, they are 3 totally different genres but good in their own ways...Now, if one of those is particularly the direction you'd like to go...let me know.

More:

Snow Patrol - Chasin Cars

David Gray - This Years Love

Harry Nilsson - You're Breaking My Heart

Dashboard Confessionals - Stolen

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Your Guardian Angel

Garth Brooks - The Red Strokes

Or maybe he's tied up in her basement.

Well, if that is the case then I am going to play all of these songs the next time I go to see a lady...and maybe I will have the same luck!
