Buffalo Barbarian Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 but something tells me its Gabbert Give me Dareus. -- Edwards/Troup/Dareus -- boner edwards ? Carrington/Taylor/Williams.
Bangarang Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 edwards ? Carrington/Taylor/Williams. Taylor? He's going in the 1st round more than likely. And for the love of everything holy can we stop with all this moving Williams to DE? The guy is productive going against centers and guards because of his combination of strength and speed. Teams are game planning against him specifically because he's a disruptive force at NT. He is often double teamed, which is what you want your NT to do so it can free up blockers and space for our linebackers to do their thing. Our linebackers are/were terrible so that throws a big wrench in things when you're trying to run a 3-4 defense. Nix has already stated that NT is not a position of need because of Williams and Troup. If Williams was better suited for the DE then Chan would move him there or would have given an inclination that a move there was a possibility.

Kyle's proven pretty much since day one that he's an effective NT. The concern is how long he can hold up. I hope he has a long productive career here at NT. As the brass have said, "He's a football player."
Mister Defense Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 but something tells me its Gabbert Why is this post still here?? BS topic heading, just to mislead people--and, then, zero, zilch, just an opinion with no facts, no analysis, nothing to support what he is saying. Ridiculous.
