PIZ
Wasn't Dallas Clark (Indy) a DE before switching at Iowa? Riemersma was a college QB right? Denney is 6 - 7. It could happen. How about Denney and Peters at TE. Would have to be the biggest starting TE's in the league. If not TE, the guy may be gone next year.
Dennis in NC
I think Jason Peters started his career as a DL at Arkansas, too.

MadBuffaloDisease
Jesus, can the guy catch? Considering Denney's Mormon background, Jesus would be a good person to ask.
kota
Actually Denny can catch really well. If you remember correctly in the preseason he dropped back from the line into pass coverage and snagged an interception out of the air. MM seems to be able to get the best out of each player. MadBuffaloDisease
At 6'7" and 275#, he'd be another Metzelaars, except with speed (4.86). Like with Bannan, something to work on over the off-season and develop for next year.
CajunBillsBacker
If he can show some recieving skills, he could develop into an excellent TE. He's big enough to block, and DE average speed equals great tight end speed. I think this whole offseason he should work on his TE skills and come into camp next year as a TE. duey
Given the fact that we are suddenly very thin at that position, if it works, why the hell not.

His game has improved, he is a good situational DE and his salary is relatively low.

stevestojan
See, Another good pick by TD... he wasn't drafting a DE ... he was drafting a TE that could sorta play DE... Brilliant!
Ramius
i like the direction that this team is taking with trying role players at multiple positions, thereby getting the max possible out of every single player on the team...i know its kinda patriots-esque, but it has worked for them, huh...
