DreReed83 Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 (edited) Couldn't agree more but what is this crap about bad mechanics in the QB article, Watched him today and the Kid was accurate and throws like Vick and I don't hear whining about his arm. He has a rocket arm with great talent and production. What else do ya need? So? Can he play is what matters. High football IQ and the ability to read defenses? Kind of important. BillsFan-4-Ever Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 What's with all the 'tats, man? I mean, you're a freakin' QB, not a D-lineman or linebacker! Looks ridiculous. No more ridiculous than Fitz beard.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Bump. Interesting little tidbit. Just posted by ProFootballTalk: According to a league source, the Combine QB workout was monitored with a radar gun. http://profootballta...-strongest-arm/
dave mcbride Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Bump. Interesting little tidbit. 95 mph fastball. That's some serious heat.
Gabe Northern Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 per buffalorumblings.com I think this kid will do well, whether that is here in Buffalo, or somewhere else. I have heard all the talk about the throwing motion, etc. But... I have watched him play for two years now, I have no reason to change my mind. He is good. I would be happy with this guy. If you liked JP Losman, you'll absolutely fall in love with Colin Kaepernick
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 If you liked JP Losman, you'll absolutely fall in love with Colin Kaepernick One observation about JP is that I always thought he played small…I don't know what he was listed at (6'2"?) but however tall he was, he appeared short and seemed to have a hard time seeing the field. Kaepernick on the other hand IS 6'6" tall so I'm not seeing the similarities between him and JP…arm strength? Kaepernick has a Matt Schaub type body but is much more athletic than Schaub.
Billsguy Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 If you liked JP Losman, you'll absolutely fall in love with Colin Kaepernick You're not even close. Kap is nothing like JP. You just don't know what you are talking about.
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 More and more intrigued by this guy, and Mayock's assessment of him only increases my interest.
BUFFALOTONE Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 If you liked JP Losman, you'll absolutely fall in love with Colin Kaepernick Great comparison. Other than the fact that Kap was a 4 year starter and didn't transfer to another college because his coach signed another QB at Cal. And the fact that he scored just under 40 on the wonderlic and is about 4 inches taller than the Water Boy. And oh yeah can throw the ball in inclimate weather. Yeah just like JP.
Ramius Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Hmmmmm. Before this year, he was a sub 60% completion passer. Somehow he managed to improve his accuracy to 65%. I guess he did the IMPOSSIBLE. Thought accuracy couldn't be improved Completion % != accuracy
judman Posted February 28, 2011 Author Posted February 28, 2011 If you liked JP Losman, you'll absolutely fall in love with Colin Kaepernick It is better to look ahead, man. Besides, this kid is nothing like JP, he has a lot more tats... Do your research!
DC Grid Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 No more ridiculous than Fitz beard. Blasphemer! Repent! The power of Fitz's bear compels you.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted February 28, 2011 Posted February 28, 2011 Blasphemer! Repent! The power of Fitz's bear compels you. YES!!! All Hail the Chr…err, Fitz' Beard!
