meazza
The Canadian Dollar has been worth more than the U.S. Dollar for the last few months - I wonder when the last time that happened was. A couple of years ago if I recall.

boyst
I remember when as a kid using the canadian coins at the candy store and feeling like a I got a good deal because they were worth so much less then the real money. Eventually, all the stoes stopped accepting them. Why? Because they're freaking Canadian! As far as our economy recovering, of course it will recover. That should be about the time that Team Canada beats Team USA in basketball.
....lybob
A couple of years ago if I recall. Looked it up -your right, late 2007 it got up to 1.07 for a short time and it got to 1.01 a few times in 2008, around march April 2009 it dipped all the way down to .78 but has been on a pretty steady upward rise since.
