Why would he dye his feet??

First thing I thought of too!

Chalk up another victory for the proponents of big lawsuits that have forced all types of organizations to rely exclusively on 'protocols' in lieu of allowing individual to use common sense and make decisions.

Actually far too many people just do not think period. It is sad to note how many people fail to understand that they have a brain.

The man was in an accident. The police/authorities/911 should be notified. There was already a good chance that he could have been dead before hand, as well.

It is not always people who don't think, it is people who over think. In this instance maybe the hospital wanted to make sure every single line was followed to avoid the liabilities they can be exposed to sustaining if they do one thing wrong. It could have very easily been a surgeon outside assisting to remove the dude and he ends up dropping the guy and breaking his arm.

Now, thanks to the scum of the earth ambulance chasing lawyers this person will be paid thousands, if not millions, in what will likely be an out of court settlement. Maybe they'll get lucky and found the brakes were messed up and they can sue Midas, too. Damn leaches.

Exactly what relevance did the words "Cuban immigrant" have to the rest of the !@#$ing story? :wallbash:

Hospital's in the right here, btw. There's quite a few reasons other than liability you don't have staff running around treating patients outside the ER.
