boyst
Just going through a few of the mentionables... I am kind of surprised by Youboty. I didn't mind us drafting him but was hoping more from him after watching him at Ohio State. Looking back at him, it was kind of clear that he was not picked any higher then he was, but he has always been a solid special teamer. Whitner seems the odd man out but I think he will be resigned, I do not know if Scott will be needed on the team if Whitner does resign. He is almost 30, as well. DE, DT/NT, and LB are a wash right now. Until we find out what the real plan is with our defense I do not know if anyone, including OBD, knows. I would like to keep Troup and Heard (not sure if we can PS him?). Spencer Johnson and Marcus Stroud do not offer much in the trade market and still have something to offer our defense. I think Stroud in the 4-3 with the right lineup can be effective again. I think McCargo could be cut this year unless he shows a lot of promise in TC. LB, though, I really just don't know if anyone can say.
Ghost of Rob Johnson
Notables: Youboty and Florence are out McCargo, gone Ayodele, Ellison, Torbor are out I think Whitner signs elsewhere I think if Wilson was staying we would have heard something regarding it. I think Strouds future depends on the #3 pick I think Poz resigns. Will probably have to sign a free agent SS to replace Whitner in the starting lineup.
