Rockinon Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Check the website's security settings. Message boards are notorious for attracting spammers. Often a bot is used to auto register. Usually this can be defeated by implementing a captcha(that little extra field used where you have to type in random numbers and/or letters). I can't remember if TSW has one. Anyway it might just be that now the Superbowl is over people are looking toward the draft now.
Chandemonium Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 A friend of mine, at my urging, registered for the site but was never sent a confirmation email. This was about two months ago. Is it possible that there was a glitch and that many pending registrants were held up for awhile and then suddenly and all at once delivered to the queue? I know he was disappointed that he couldn't post. did he check his spam folder?
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Dude. I think that is it. It all started minutes after Rosen-boy posted that... I started an internet rumor! Scratch that off the bucket list...
5 Wide Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Perhaps TBD is in the crosshairs of an Xrumer blast, or some type of bot type of program
BillsRUs Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 uh-oh.......Richardsbag might be a 4chan harbinger!
Beerball Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I started an internet rumor! Scratch that off the bucket list... i thought maybe they wanted to talk to me
MikeSpeed Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 40 of Cam Newton's father's closest friends?
JoeFerguson Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 It's because the Bills extended Jon Corto.
wonderbread Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 It's because the Bills extended Jon Corto. That's where I was going too.
Fan in San Diego Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Did two bills drive get mentioned in some news report perhaps? Dave Wannstat had all bills players sign up?
Ozymandius Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 There's been more twitter activity over the past day or so: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&prmdo=1&tbs=mbl%3A1&q=%22twobillsdrive%22&aq=f&aqi=g-s1g1g-v5&aql=t&oq=
Phil Hansen Forever Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I think 40 people are waiting in the queue and that is 10x more than usual. Any ideas? It must be the news of the new uni's. It's got everyone exciting. Ralph is popping a woody.
mcjeff215 Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 They've heard we have a great Rattata recipe.
Delete This Account Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 (edited) probably more people wanting to call me an egotistical, overly sensitive moron or something. wouldn't blame them. jw Edited February 11, 2011 by john wawrow
dbringer Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Maybe it's the FBI expanding their anti-terrorism task force, now that they've shut down those sites that stream NFL games live. Two Bills Drive is next on their list. There probably wasn't much esle going on in the world - not like there's turmoil in the Middle East or anything like that...
thebug Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 probably more people wanting to call me an egotistical, overly sensitive moron or something. wouldn't blame them. jw The number was 40, not 400.
