PromoTheRobot Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Anyone like any power RBs in this draft? I was just thinking how much the Bills could use a "human bowling ball" type who can just pound the crap out of a D-line. Someone who can gain one yard even with guys on him. PTR
Johnny Hammersticks Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I don't think we need to add another RB, but I'll say Noel Devine from WVU
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 We should be able to find a good one at #3.

Mr. WEO Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 We should be able to find a good one at #3. No you've done it...what if Buddy reads this? By Thursday half the posters will be fine with this.
NoSaint Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I'd love to see a Chris ivory/ lagarette Blount in the late rounds. Don't have specific names though.
AReed Deep For 7 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 We should be able to find a good one at #3. aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Captain Caveman Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 If Fairley is still available at #3 we could switch him to RB. The Freezer. Sarcasm.
Dan Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Yes, let's draft a WR, then a RB. Then go for the trifecta of wasting another draft by drafting another CB. How great would that be!! Of course, I would only support this is we cut (no trades) Jackson and Evans so they don't cause a locker room problem.
RuntheDamnBall Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 If Fairley is still available at #3 we could switch him to RB. The Freezer. Sarcasm. I prefer "meat locker."
Buffalo Barbarian Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Was going to say Ryan Houston but he is a senior but is redshirting because of the scandal. Kid is a beast 6'2" 245 and is a tailback not a fullback. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=237133 http://bleacherreport.com/articles/503404-unc-football-red-shirting-ryan-houston-and-charles-brown-is-both-fair-and-just Delone Carter from Syracuse is hard running stocky back, at 5'9" 225 he has great cuts and with his leverage he is more like a 260 pound-er.
fansince88 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 No you've done it...what if Buddy reads this? By Thursday half the posters will be fine with this. Let Maybin try this. He is so good at letting the running back get by him that he should be good at it .
Astrobot Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Clay is big. We have him #237 on our Big Board. Right now, the Analyst from Philly is grabbing him in RD#5, which is a reach. Delone Carter is your low center of gravity back (#144 on our Big Board), great leverage, with Pittsburgh taking him in RD5#160 14 picks later.

PTR Scott from Maryland is more of a combo back but he is a tough runner. Some similar traits to Jackson.
DC Grid Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Owen Marcesic? Played FB and LB at Stanford. Would be great on special teams and a great short distance back. Way better than mcentyre.
silvermike Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 A late-round/UDFA power back/special teamer wouldn't be bad for this team at all, but it'd be painful to see a higher pick get burned here.
