JohnC
leinidas If he ends up in jail again for his fraud he will still be using the house phone for making bets. He is a prisoner of his own complusion. That will never change.

JohnC
It's still a sad story. It certainly is. I'm not chortling over his struggles. My point is that whether he is in jail or out he is going to have to struggle with his gambling addiction. That will never change. Where I get less sympathetic is in his defrauding others. That expands the scope of his gambling problem to the legal arena.

Albany,n.y.
You might have the wrong guy. The article refers to "Art Schlicter". The former QB, who spent the 1986 preseason with the Bills until the day Jim Kelly signed is Art Schlichter. So maybe Art Schlichter really is innocent. PromoTheRobot
The Bills could have used a franchise QB like him. PTR
Albany,n.y.
sorry for the spelling error. Don't be sorry, it wasn't your fault. It was the guy who published the article. There's nothing wrong with a spelling error on TSW, it's when the articles are written by guys who don't know how to spell people's names that is the problem.
