I actually felt sorry for this kid after this hit. Who would fault him for throwing it up and either getting intentional grounding or an INT? not me.

the hit and the aftermath:

Big Sam was a bit quiet against Miami after playing like a mad man since his

sideline tirade, but he was unstoppable this week. Sam Adams has had himself

a pro-bowl season. When he turns it loose, it's absolutely amazing how quick he

is. He explodes. No top end, but one hell of a first gear.

Seeing it live the QB disappeared briefly while Sam engulfed him.  ;)

Speaking of hits, anybody see that hit on Springs last night. Wow, thought someone could get killed with a hit like that

Parry lined him up for several yards. I love big hits, but that was uncalled for. He could have blocked him effectively without trying to go right through him. A big hit is a big hit, but when the guy's not looking, all he needed to do was shove him and he would have flown way out of the play. I Hope Springs is alright.

The reality is we were facing an opponent who has ONE professional caliber offensive lineman (Faine) and a bunch of turnstiles. Big Sam SHOULD have had a huge game yesterday. I'm glad he did.
