Albany,n.y.
In this week's Pro Football Weekly they have an article listing the top 50 players of 2010 and then give honorable mention to another 25. There is not 1 Bills player among the 75 players! Don't blame PFW, blame the guys who have drafted and signed our current roster.

Albany,n.y.
Just looked over the Pro Football Weekly Page and did not see this as an article. Could you provide a link? I have the printed edition in an Adobe file. If you've looked on their site, it's pretty obvious that the article isn't included in the free stuff they offer & can't be linked. BillsPride12
Kyle Williams should be on the list but with that said we are severely lacking in talent if we ever wanna be a legitimate contender

I think it's more because of our unstable coaching staff. Players can't be asked to improve when you're entire coaching staff is changing every 2 or 3 years. There are 22 positions on a football team plus maybe 2 or 3 special teams players can be counted for a total of 25. So basically not one of the Bills players are in the top 3 of their position for the entire NFL. And for all the KW fans he could possibly be in the top 10, but not top 5 for a DT/NT so it's easy see why he doesn't make the list. With that being said, being in the top 3 of your position for the year, is difficult for any player on any team. Although I do believe the bills are on their way to putting some players there. Doc
They had enough talent to win 8 games this year (the 4 they won, plus the first Miami game, the Ravens, Steelers, and Chiefs games), if not for hiccups by players who had the talent to make those plays that they screwed up (Johnson's dropped TD pass, Lindell's missed FG, Nelson's strip). They were also leading the Bears in the 4th quarter. Do they need more talent? Of course. But what they need is for the talent they have to consistently show it. NoSaint
now i bet within say the top 100 the steelers, packers, jets, patriots, all have about 5 players, thats about where our first player shows up if we had to guess the top 5 guys on our team that would show up on lists like this id say KW Poz Whitner Fredjack Evans i think we get to about 300 before those 5 all get mentioned, and 2 are going to be UFAs, 1 is a RB on the wrong side of 30, and 1 is perpetually being run out of town by fans. speaks volumes to where we stand in comparison, and why we MUST go BPA in the draft. we have no position so good that it cant or shouldnt be replaced by someone with top 3 talent, or for that matter top 34. You are what your record is-excuses are for losers. The Bills did not beat one team with a winning record this year. Almost wins count as much as almost losses i.e. check the score at the end of the game and you will find out the actual results. The Bills' dismal record reflects its dismal talent level. The link shows the record of teams for the past decade. To save some time when looking for the Bills' record start at the bottom. http://nfl.fanhouse.com/2010/01/07/nfl-standings-for-the-decade-colts-patriots-are-the-best-lion/

If you look at the 5 or 10 picks just after ours, there is a keeper in there somewhere. Truth.
BillsVet
No excuses. Just the truth. An excuse is when you almost or can't get something done. This wouldn't be such a sore subject if the franchise managed to get into the post-season once a decade. Problem is, the supposed foundation built this season looks like something the Big Bad Wolf could blow down with a sore throat. The OL isn't better, the defense could be worse in 2010, the secondary isn't as stellar as some thought, the running game never got going, and the QB is a journeyman somewhere in the middle of the NFL at his position. Sure there are some bright spots in KW and Steve Johnson, but beyond that and Fred Jack, what jumps out as quality talent anywhere? The truth is the jury is still out on Nix and Gailey. Year 1 did not go very well.
billsfan89
Kyle Williams should be on the list. 2nd team all pro DT and even if you just watched him with your eyes you saw that Williams was a stud for the D. Steve Johnson, Wood and Levitre will be on that list next year (Or at least get honorable mentions), and Spiller hopefully reaches his potential and gets on that list as well.
