BuffaloBillsForever Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 (edited) Not on how well Starks runs the football but much of the Packers success might be on how Starks does in pass protection, reading and picking up the Blitz. Offensively, the Packers match up the best out of any of the teams in playoffs against the Steelers with their high octane, shotgun, spread em out type mentality. This puts a lot a pressure on the RB in pass protection. Not only is Rodgers hot right now but they also IMO have one of the best WR sets in the league. This strategy is also the biggest weakness of the Steelers D. You might see Rogers throw 50 times in this game. What I think you will see a lot from the Packers is a lot of 4 Wr sets with Starks or Jackson in the backfield and Rogers airing it out. If Rodgers can make the reads and Starks/Jackson execute the blocks against the Steelers excellent pass rush, the Packers will have open receivers all game and will be very successful. Lets look back in a few weeks and see if they use this spread em out strategy and if it worked. Edited January 24, 2011 by BuffaloBillsForever
