Hapless Bills Fan
It was notable that Bills hung with three of the playoff teams (Bears, Steelers, and Ravens) and got our a**es handed to us by Jets, NE, and GB. There are a couple of ways to interpret this. One is that GB, NE, and Jets are better teams. GB we played early in the season, with Trent at the helm. Not sure what that means other than we totally sucked at the beginning of the season. I think it will be very telling to see what happens in the rest of the playoffs. If the Steelers ground the Jets, is it possible that division knowledge played into our whupping by Jets and NE? Not the schemes so much but the players -- Ryan and Belichek and their staffs have seen many of our players for years, probably see "tells" in small nuances of how they line up. Chan and his boys are new to the division and have only seen a little film. Could that be part of the difference? Don't want to read too much in to it but am very interested to see how the playoffs play out.
Tortured Soul
Don't want to read too much in to it but am very interested to see how the playoffs play out. Then don't. The Jets and Pats already beat the Steelers in Pittsburgh.

Balt and Pitt - we were improving and may have caught them by surprise. NE - They were ready the second game, they expected to see an improved team and they they just pounded us. Some of our problem with NE is in our heads. We expect to loose. Until we can get to Brady we will loose. Jets - We do not match up in the trenches and we tend to get manhandled. The last game of the season we ran for the bus. Many players had their worst game of the seaon on that day. We need to draft some strong mean defensive players and pressure the QB. We need to run better and that means add a monster to the ROT spot. We need a TE that blocks like a tackle and can use his size to get open and be a reliable big target. Until we address this we will loose to our division teams. We are not built to compete in the AFCE yet. KD in CA
It's easier to hang with a team that relies more on a conservative gameplan and tough defense (not we still didn't win any of those games). Good scoring teams are going to blow the doors of Buffalo more often than not.
