Jim in Anchorage Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 You're under arrest! I !@#$in hate that saying. Put your hands on the car ranks up their.
Buftex Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 People who say - irregardless. Its not even a word. Just say regardless!!!!! Speaking of non-words, I cringe, every time Troy Aikman (and a few others) use the "word" defensed, rather than defended. It is not proper english...using it is indefendable!
BB27 Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 John Forbes Kerry - "Would that it were." WTF is that supposed to mean?
Cugalabanza Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 People who say - irregardless. Its not even a word. Just say regardless!!!!! I agree. It gets used so much though that it has weasled its way into acceptable vocabulary. It's a really clunky and ugly word. Really stupid prefix/suffix usage. I cringe when I hear it.
BuffaloBill Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 I hate twenty somethings overuse of the word "like." "like ya know and like I am getting ready to chill and like..."
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Resiliency. The word is RESILIENCE!
shrader Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 "Fail." "Epic." I thought they were bad enough as internet speak, but it's a million times worse when someone actually says them out loud.
LeviF Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 "I'm on my period" Oh how I wish there were a vampire smiley.
DC Tom Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Or simply "Not tonight, I have a headache." First...I'm not interested in doing crossword puzzles together. Shut your brain off, for all I care. Second...you've had a headache for ten months already. Maybe it's time to take some goddamn aspirin?
coloradobillsfan Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 them: 'have a good one' you: 'i've got a good one. i just wish i had a GREAT one' obviously works best if you are a guy...
Chilly Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 I hate it when people get annoyed over stupid ****.
DC Tom Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 It's not you, it's me. Never heard that one, myself. Although I have heard "It's not me, it's you." And "It's not you, it's me...I hate you." And "I'm carrying mace."
meazza Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 Never heard that one, myself. Although I have heard "It's not me, it's you." And "It's not you, it's me...I hate you." And "I'm carrying mace." Take care.
